About Dreamrift Press

Some ideas need
more room.

Dreamrift Press is an independent publishing imprint built around thoughtful books, timeless ideas, and the belief that reading can still create a little distance from the noise.

01

Why Dreamrift exists

Not everything worth reading needs to shout.

Dreamrift Press was created to give reflective work a deliberate home: books that ask readers to notice something, reconsider something, or carry an idea back into ordinary life.

The aim is not to publish for the sake of volume. It is to build a small catalogue with a clear point of view.

The approach

Small by design.
Serious about the work.

01

Thought before volume

A smaller list allows each title to receive real attention rather than becoming another release in a crowded feed.

02

Clarity over performance

The writing, design and presentation should serve the idea rather than compete with it.

03

Books with an afterlife

The strongest work continues in the reader's mind after the final page.

The name

Dreamrift.

A rift is an opening: a break in what seemed continuous. Dreamrift is the space where routine gives way to reflection — where an idea can interrupt the familiar long enough for something different to become visible.

That tension between day and night, routine and possibility, is reflected in the Dreamrift Press mark.

Tibor Pinter is the author of The Vanishing Evenings, the first title published by Dreamrift Press.

His writing focuses on the quiet patterns that shape everyday life — the use of time, the weight of routine, and the gap between intention and action.

The Vanishing Evenings.

A book about reclaiming the hours after work — and an appropriate first expression of what Dreamrift Press is intended to be.
